Position Responsibilities:IPS- Integrated Project Services is currently looking for a Maintenance Technician to work at a pharmaceutical client site in the York/Harrisburg/Lancaster area. This Maintenance Technician will be supporting a project for the restart of existing production skid. The Technician position will be responsible for the restart and repair of production equipment which may include vacuum pumps, centrifugal pumps, fans, blowers, gearboxes, compressors, and centrifuges. The Technician will also be responsible for performing work on PLC/DCS systems and instrumentation and may be ask to perform tasks in piping, welding, and electrical troubleshooting. The Technician will need to understand and follow P&ID, loop, and schematic drawings. They will also be required to describe and communicate issues with engineers, suppliers, and contractors.Qualifications & Requirements:Applicants are required to have a high school diploma or GED; preferable an Associate’s Degree in a mechanical/electrical/technical areaThree to five years of experience in a pharmaceutical, food and beverage, or chemical manufacturing environmentExperience in piping, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair requiredSignificant experience with PLC/DCS systems is requiredExperience in a GMP environment strongly preferredProficient computer skills in the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel)Strong oral and written communication skills; must be able to work in a team environmentGood working knowledge of cGMP as well as safety and quality regulationsCompany Overview:About Us IPS-Integrated Project Services is a global leader in developing innovative and cost effective solutions for the engineering, construction, commissioning and qualification of complex pharmaceutical and biotech research and manufacturing facilities.
