Job Description:
CAD Drafter
Outsource is on the hunt for a Fire and Security AutoCAD Drafter for a contract to hire position in York, PA.
Job requirements:
:AutoCAD experience (specifically experience in the Telecommunications Industry)
:An understanding drafting standards and terminology of the following:Fire, Intrusion, Access Control, Video Surveillance and Intercommunication systems
:Experience reading wiring diagrams and system design drawings
:Very strong communication and documentation skills
:Ability to receive direction from other engineering members on the design team
Basic Qualifications:
Good verbal and written communication skills
Must be proficient in MS office programs.
Must be proficient in AutoCAD xxxx or later versions.
Prior security system design experience required (in Fire, Access Control, Intrusion and Video Surveillance)
Ability to analyze and apply security product knowledge in:
Video Surveillance : VMS Solutions: Genetec, ONSSI, Milestone, Pelco and American Dynamic Intrusion Detection Systems: Bosch, DSC, Ademco and DMP
Access Control Systems: Software House, UTC (Casi:Rusco, Infographic, Lenel), Hirsch, AMAG, DSX and Schlage
Intercommunication Systems; Aiphone, Code Blue, Talk:Aphone, Bogen
Fire System: Edwards
Other:
Associates degree in Electronics, Communications or other technical field or equivalent experience. Bachelor's degree preferred.
2 years System Engineering experience with 2 years of experience in the design, installation and service of Security, Access Control, Video Surveillance, and Intercommunication systems.
