Accounts Payable Coordinator Primary Responsibilities include: -Batch and code invoices; data entry into accounting system -Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances. -Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries -Researching and resolving purchase order, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; insuring credit is received for outstanding memos; issuing stop Payments or requesting purchase order amendments and reconciling vendor statements. -Paying vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; verifying federal id numbers; scheduling and preparing checks, ACH, EFT, wire payments. -Paying employees by receiving and verifying expense reports and requests for advances; preparing checks or ACH. -Maintain vendor master and historical records filing -Post month end journal entries Requirements: -Minimum of Associate's degree required -Minimum of 2 years of Accounts Payable experience required -Proficient in Microsoft Office -ERP system experience preferred -Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy -Ability to work independently or on a team Accounts Payable, Journal Entries, Expense Reports, Check Processing, Microsoft Excel Accountemps, a Robert Half company, is the world's leader in specialized temporary financial staffing.
